House Work

So I am trying to catch up on posting some of the work we have done on the house so far (pictures are a week or so old). Some of the things we have done recently include: improvising with a baby seat tightener as a winch to help straiten a fence post, tear out a wall between the kitchen and dinning room, and scrape the plaster ceiling.

Last Set Of Before Pictures

Here is the last set of before pictures on our new house. We are probably going to redo the flooring on the entry way and the 1/2 bathroom on the main level. That will probably wait till after we move in though :-)

Apgars Visit

We seem to have had quite the flow of people through our house recently. The latest was the Mr & Mrs. Apgar who were like a second set of parents to me growing up. James (their son) has been my best friend since i was 7 and was the best man in our wedding.

Thrid Set Of Before Pictures

Here are a couple more pictures of the townhouse we just bought. We like the basement, but are going to have to take up the carpet as water came in from around the door (and was not properly dried out) and caused damage under the carpet and around the shoe molding.

Second Set Of Before Pictures

Here is the second set of before pictures of the house. We are planing on taking out the wall with the window (which is between the kitchen and dinning rooms), installing a breakfast bar in its place and repainting most of the rooms in the house.

Erika Visits

Naomi's cousin Erika came to visit last week but we hadn't gotten the pictures off the camera yet as we have been pretty busy with the new house :-) Anyway here are a couple of pictures of Erika when she was here.
