Christmas Morning - a Few Highlights ;-)
So many family members mailed us packages this year. We saved them all under the tree. They were each special to open: Legos, puzzles, stuffed animals, Frozen stuff, books, CDs, DVDs, jewelry,... We were so blessed!
Yes, indoor swings! This was our big surprise for the kids at the end of the present opening. They were shocked! We've had to establish a few ground rules, but so far...no injuries and they are loving it. We are too. :)

Christmas Eve - Quick Flash Back
We had a little Christmas celebration early with G'pa and G'ma Smith who were here for a couple days until Christmas Eve. The kids were very excited about their Legos! Lucas got a family board game, and I received some nice jewelry. We gave G'pa and G'ma a Timothy Keller book.
The kids wanted to have a "Christmas cake" this year. This is what we came up with.

Kids' Christmas Choir
They sang, "Ding, Dong Merrily on High" and "Good Christian Men, Rejoice!" in church last Sunday. Amber did a good job. Brent was supposed to sing too, but...he woke up not feeling well that morning so he just sat with us in the pew. He is doing ok now. ;-)

Another Friend's "Frozen" Birthday!
Our other church friend, and neighbor, Rozzie just turned 3. She had her "Frozen" party on Saturday. Her mom arranged for the character Anna to show up and read the kids a story and sing and do a craft with them!
Here, below, they made snow.

A Friend's "Frozen" Birthday!
Our friend from church Fiona just turned 4.
Fiona's mom made this cake herself! My kids (and I) were SO impressed! Amber wants me to make one just like this for her next year. I better start practicing now. ;-D

More Dress-up with Friends
Our friend Rozzie next door came over to play for the afternoon. The girls were playing dress-up for most of the afternoon, and then playing with Brent's toy drill - that was the popular item of the day.

Christmas Cookie Play Date
Lots of fun decorating for the kids. My friend Tina organized and prepared all of this. So nice! Clara kept calling all of the sprinkles "salts"! LOL.

Clara Making Good Progress with Potty Training!
After 7 days with no accidents, she earned her Ariel Barbie. She was very excited. Such a big girl now!
Our bathroom demo/remodel is on hold at the moment, but you can see our medicine cabinet is now currently located on my dresser. lol. And then Christmas decor joined the mix too! ;-)
