Naomi and Joanie - "Swap" Treasures

While Auntie Joanie was here, my friend Andrea hosted a "Swap" at her house. This is where friends get together with all their unwanted items for donation, but instead of taking them to Goodwill, we take turns swapping treasures with each other. It's fun, it's free, and... you never know what exciting things you will come home with! Joanie and I should have taken a picture that night when we got home - we had at least two full bags. But, below the kids and I are modeling some of our new outfits. ;-) "Thanks, Andrea for hosting another great swap!" 

Auntie Joanie Visits

Auntie Joanie came out for a visit last week. It was wonderful to have her here! Lucas is showing her a Minion game on his phone.

On a Friday afternoon we went over to the Cub Run Rec Center swimming pool. We all had fun and were exhausted by the end of the afternoon. ;-)

We had one more snow storm a couple week ago, but my Amazon snow shovel order for the kids was delayed. The shovels finally arrived just before the last of the snow piles melted. When the UPS guy came to the door Brent said, "Finally! What took you so long?!" lol!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

A few days ago I mentioned about St. Patrick's Day coming up. Well, the kids latched onto the "green" theme and insisted we all wear green today - even Daddy to work.

After a trip to the library for new books, the kids usually sit and read for a while - all is calm and educational! ;-)
