At Our Beach

Last night at our beach before the Apgar's had to head back to the Mainland. We had a great time with them, and Amber kept asking when they were going to come back on the plane.

SPAM

We just saw this video podcast on one of the more popular Hawaiian lunch foods. I have had this several times and it is actually pretty decent. This is the first time i am embeding a video from a blip.tv source, so hopefully you can all see this. You can check out more of Daniel Delaney's WTF podcasts at: http://danieldelaney.com/wtf

Final Update on Brent

Yesterday Brent saw another GI Doc at Kapiolani Hospital for a second opinion (Dr. Jeremy King, DO). Such a better experience, for me as the Mom especially, compared to the first Doc. This new Dr. actually listened to my husband and I as we explained all about Brent's situation and history. Overall he thinks Brent is doing amazing (based on our description, Brent's weight gain, and the results of his endoscopy/biopsies from a few weeks ago); and that there is NO NEED for Brent to go back on a prescription medication. Continuing on this trivial dosage of Maalox is totally o.k. for Brent. He thinks Brent is starting to outgrow some of his reflux issues (which is what my "Mommy gut" has been telling me the past few weeks and why I didn't want to go back on prescription meds), and that hopefully by 2 yrs old he will be totally normal and off of Maalox! We are praising the Lord for all this progress and thanking all of you for supporting us in prayers these past few weeks/months! God is good!

Blessings,

Humpback Whales

The Humpback whales are heading north to their summer Feeding grounds near the Arctic. We hiked Makapuu with James and Leah and got to see a number of whales from the trail.
