Recently Brent and Clara are starting to play together more, (though Clara still tends to mess up his animals set-ups most of the time). But here was a sweet moment, and Brent asked me to take the picture!

My neighbor/friend and I started swapping kids on Friday mornings. This week we had Rozzie come play with us. She is 5 months older than Clara. She gets along so well with all the kids. Amber likes to take care of Rozzie, and Amber likes to teach the younger ones "school." :)

Looking Back...

They really have grown SO much!! Above was Amber ~14 months old, just before Brent was born. Below is Brent when we first arrived in Hawaii, 7months old. And then Clara in her favorite bouncy seat in Hawaii, ~3months old.  Our 3 Blessings! We are so thankful. 

Organizing the Basement Office Area

We finally got around to putting up (reusing from HI) these little white shelves on the basement wall. They were a good way to get the lamp, phone, knick-knacks, etc. off the desk and table areas. Great G'ma had the "Sweet Leilani" sheet music framed for Clara; a very special gift. It found a happy home now with all the other Hawaii decor downstairs. 

Sundays

So Amber's hair takes a curl/kink really well! Above she is in her Sunday morning outfit; and below she is in her Sunday evening Awana (Sparky) uniform, ready to head to club and still sport her new hairstyle. Some of her teachers said they didn't recognize her at first. lol. 

Last night while the older 2 were at Awana club, we took Clara out for some Goodwill shopping and then a smoothie. Isn't this the cutest little baby smoothie cup?! I think she felt pretty special. :)

Brent wanted to help make supper, so we put him on veggie duty. :) He did a great job!

After bath we had some time to braid Amber's hair. It should be all kinky in the morning when we take the braids out! She was very excited about this - her first time.

Brent's Final Cake and Party

Brent finally had his 4yr-old birthday party about a week ago. Yay! Unfortunately, our little camera died so I wasn't able to take pictures during the get-together with our friends. But Lucas took a picture of this (his final) dinosaur cake for me the night before with his fancy camera. I loaded lots of frosting on...the kids enjoyed all that sugar the next day. ;-) And we played, "Duck, Duck, Dinosaur"; had a "Dinosaur Egg Toss"; and a "Dinosaur Egg Hunt." It's all about the naming of the activities. lol. They were really low-key activities actually. The egg hunt was the biggest hit. I think Brent had a nice time though.

I have been trying to workout on the treadmill a couple times per week. The other day, during nap time, I let Amber stay down by me and color. Well,...this is what she came up with! I thought it was too cute! Had to share. :)

Our Little Cubbie

Amber and Brent are in Awana Bible club this year. Brent is a Cubbie (3-4yr olds) and Amber is a Sparky (K5-2nd graders). They are doing really well and are working hard to memorize their Bible verses each week.
