During our lunch break the neighbor/farmer, who was raking our hay, offered to give the kids tractor rides...pretty cool. Air conditioned cab.  "Buddy" seat.  Music...modern farming.  :)

Releasing a Monarch

We've tried to capture this cocoon-to-butterfly process several times before, but...

...this was the first time we had success! Really amazing to finally see!

Lucas' Birthday and New Car for Sara

For part of the day we were over at Joanie's place to watch the "car surprise" for Sara unfold. An amazing gift to her from Joanie and Gpa & Gma GG. 

Clara and Mumum made the special birthday hat for Lucas; he was so sweet about wearing it as we celebrated his birthday together too. 

County Fair

Amber's friend was showing her heifer calf in a local fair. Amber enjoyed hanging out all day with her friend and learning more about animal care/competition.

And only in WI would there be such a bird. LOL!

Total Solar Eclipse

Part of our MO trip included watching the solar eclipse. A local college had family-friendly activities that day, leading up to the 1pm eclipse. 

So amazing to see this in-person!
