Camping/Outdoor Fun
I went to a weekend interpreters' conference, and so Lucas went camping with the kids and some friends.

School Year Underway
When Lucas was on travel, Gpa and Mumum came to help on the home front for a couple days...working on school and trimming trees.
A field trip which included a mini lecture on horses - Amber was all ears!!
Brent still loves toads and frogs best. He has 2 toads in his room as pets; and everyday he still goes out to catch food (worms, crickets, flies, etc.) for them. He is enjoying it all!

Working and Visiting Out East
Lucas' new role at work took him out East for 10 days. He drove, so he was able to visit with friends in Fairfax and drive by our old townhouse.
Then he also stopped by to visit with Owen and Maritza and see their precious twin boys!
Then a final swing-through PA and a nice birthday dinner with Mom and Dad. :)
