Amber's New Bike

This past weekend we bought Amber a Schwinn tricycle from a garage sale. Ten bucks. Not bad. Just needs a little steel wool to get the rust off. It was from a family of SIX GIRLS; they are all moving back to Utah. Amber is a happy girl with her new wheels. Now we just have to get Daddy some new wheels - motorcycle!...we'll see. :-)

Incoming!

When we say "Airplane" or "Incoming" on the phone, this is what is passing right over our house :-) I guess living in the flightpath of Dulles Airport was good training.

For those coming to visit - just jump off a little early and it will save us the trip to the airport ;-)

For those who don't know. Dole got its start here on Oahu in the early 1900s when it opened its first canning factory to ship pineapple around the world :-) Another thing i learned is that pineapples grow on short plants (not trees). Who knew?

Bath Time

After a "hard" Saturday of swimming, playing, another pedicure (turquoise this time), walking along Waikiki, and eating pizza... It's time for a good 'ole bath! Look at those blue-eyed babies! :-) And Brent's smile...such a charmer!

New House

We signed the lease on our house today (Monday, June 7th). Below are some pictures of the place and us cleaning today. We had originally planned to sign the lease and then go to the beach, but we suddenly realized...oh yeah!...we better clean this house before our stuff comes. smiles. The kids were very cooperative while Lucas and I tackled the kitchen, 2 bathrooms, living room, and 4 bedrooms. (Amber had a blast running around all the open space inside - she seems to really like the place, we pulled up and she said "home!")
