Special Family Weekend in MO

We drove down to see Uncle Trevor and Auntie Katelyn and their family, and G'ma. It was so nice to see them all and Evie again, and to meet little Ro. 

One day we went to the zoo (despite the 95 degree temperature). 

We lodged at a friend's house nearby. Lucas and kids got to play old Mario games. 

During the day we went over to T & K's place. Amber really enjoys petting their dogs. 

Ro is crawling around and trying to talk, and he's super cute!

Peek-a-boo!

One evening G'ma Smith stayed home with the kids so that the 4 of us adults could go out. We walked around the corner to a restaurant for dessert. 

On Sunday we got to see Evie and Ro get dedicated/baptized. Really special!

Copper Pot

This copper pot was originally a pig scalding pot on the farm. Then it was the cows' water trough for many years. Mostly recently it's found a home in the flower garden as a little pond. But...now and then it needs to be cleaned out. After a cleaning we all jumped in for this pic 

Weekend with Extended Family

Gpa and Brent biked a couple miles to the Dollar Store.

Uncle Craig and Auntie Renee stopped by. They were showing the kids pics from the Milwaukee zoo.

4th of July Weekend

Amber's Birthday

Amber is in love with horses this year! For her birthday our neighbor kindly let Amber groom and ride Apache. 

Then Amber had a horse-themed little birthday party. 

She gave each of her special girlfriends a horse charm necklace.
