Brent won first place, for all 7th grade boys, in the 50m breaststroke. 

Now he's on to training for hurdles.

Baking Buds

Clara and her friend like to hangout and bake together. They also have a Tupperware that they take turns (individually) filling with baked treats and giving to each other. So sweet! (pun intended) ;-)

Amber in Regional Choir

Amber was in the "alto 1" section...back row, 2nd girl from left. 

Below is Amber with her choir teacher and her 3 other classmates who made it into this regional choir. (They had tryouts earlier this fall). The concert was BEAUTIFUL! Singers from several of the private/Christian schools in the area came together for a full weekend of rehearsals and then the performance. I was also impressed with the piano accompanist - she regularly plays for the Dallas symphony, and was basically sight reading the music that day (and it was not easy music).

Brent Swimming

Brent is ready to launch (on the right) into his relay. :)

He is enjoying refining his swimming skills on the Legacy middle school swim team this year. He gets up at 5:45am four days a week for practice! His final meet will be toward the end of January.
