Life During Coronavirus Quarentine

Our homeschool co-op has been cancelled for the rest of the year. But the kids have been able to Skype on Friday afternoon with their Tutor and fellow English students to read their papers to each other. 

Amber also has virtual Youth Group now.

Lucas has transitioned to working from home for the next couple months. 

There has been lots of gaming and reading as well these days. 

Clara has helped Dad put up radiant barrier in the attic (above the carport), and Clara helps track the remaining number of toilet paper rolls each evening. ;-)

AWANA

The kids have been memorizing lots of Bible verses and having fun this year in AWANA. Below was "crazy hat" night...Brent and Clara came up with their own creations.
This was the last night AWANA met as per usual. Now, with the Coronavirus pandemic, the kids recite their weekly verses to us at home and we email a report to their club directors.

GPA and GMA's Winter Visit

Above: The first couple days of their visit, the weather was quite warm. So we went to a nearby beach to play in the sand and stick our toes in the (icy) water.
Below: G'ma helped Clara with her school work everyday. It was extra meaningful to Clara that G'ma would climb up on her top bunk to do the work together. 

Above: Frisco is home to the National Videogame Museum, so we took Gpa and Gma one afternoon. Gpa voted that the original "Pong" game was the best one of all. :)
Below: The week went by all too quickly.
