Starting a New School Year
This is our "adventure year." We are even changing up our school routine. The kids are attending a university model school -- 2 days at school and 3 days of homeschooling each week.

Evening Walks
We've been walking around our downtown square area more...relearning how to appreciate city life.
A local museum that shows the early history of Frisco. Kids are glad we didn't have to travel down to TX in one of these!
Our church. About 500 people attend each Sunday.

Summer Around Town
Lucas has been on travel a couple weekends this summer. The kids and I found things to do...
Going to church together.

The kids are almost too big for splash pads now, but they had fun nonetheless.

I had to introduce the kids to the sugary goodness of Krispy Kreme doughnuts!
Brent was intentionally practicing his belly flops.
A nerdy coffee shop near our apartment where you can play (and/or buy) board games. Perfect for this gaming family (who had to leave a lot of our games back in WI)!

Soccer Camp
We moved to the land of sports. Truly. Even the Dallas Cowboys’ new training facility is right here in Frisco. We jumped on the sports bandwagon and registered the kids for an indoor soccer camp. Lots of running and good exercise! Also a chance to improve their skills. All three want to do it again sometime.

LegoLand Dallas
To say Brent was "excited" is an understatement. This was Legoland Discovery Center, which is not as big as Orlando or CA; but there was still plenty to do. The kids had lots of fun.
