Chick-Fil-A

Our current, family, favorite fast food place. We happened to stop one night and it was Chick-Fil-A's birthday. So kids got to have their faces painted too: horse, creeper (from MineCraft), and cat.

Kids even had the idea to bring Dad Chick-Fil-A for lunch at work recently. 

Back to School - 2019

January Play Date

Temps change around here so fast! From 30 degrees to over 70 degrees in one week! So...we had a beach play date with some school friends. Hurray for a day to play outside and get dirty. :)

Trip to San Antonio

After Christmas, we took a 3 day trip down to Austin and San Antonio with some friends. 

On the drive down Amber bought her first cowgirl hat, and we stopped at Longhorn Caverns state park for a tour of the cave. 

The next day it was warm (75) in San Antonio, and we went to Sea World. 

The following day it was much cooler, but we saw the Alamo and walked along the River Walk downtown, and ate some delicious Italian pizza. 

Restaurants - “X”

We are getting to the end of our Restaurants-by-Alphabet date nights. "X" was going to be hard to find. But we found Xin Xian in Richardson. It was fairly tasty Asian food, and getting to play pool was a bonus!

And it's never too cold to walk over to 7-Eleven for slurpies. ;-)
