Lucas Working Hard

I cannot imagine working on four computer screens at once, much less doing so while the kids are practicing piano and such downstairs! (The headphones do help block out noise). Nonetheless, Lucas has managed to stay in a good working groove these weeks. And...
...He has even lead the kids in extra math/story problem practice over his lunch hours.

Backtracking

Before COVID-19 changed our lives, here are some things we did in early March.

At the horse ranch, the staff allowed Amber some riding time of her own as a reward for her volunteering over the winter.

Above: We finished 10 weeks of American Sign Language class with the students each doing a mini presentation about themselves. (Note: I wear the ear band when we are in "no voice" time, as a visual reminder that we should only be signing).

Below: Brent had his adenoids and tonsils removed (March 11) just in time! He had one setback during his recovery, but...
...overall he is doing quite well now, and he is sleeping and breathing so much more peacefully!! We are so thankful to the Lord for Brent's improved health!

Beautiful and Encouraging Sidewalk Art

Our neighborhood sidewalks have recently been decorated with encouraging messages. They are great to see as we take walks and bike rides.
