Brent's Birthday Weekend

Brent had his own special weekend at Gma and Gpa's. Legos, yard work, fishing, art time, special treats, and...then he came home for his froggie birthday cake.
Oh, and yes he did have a black eye. He got accidentally smacked with a wooden board swing - 2 stitches - a couple days before the weekend.

Clara's Date Morning

Clara and Mom came into work one morning. Then we had a few hours together in downtown Appleton. Clara loved the special time with just us. :)

Brunch and hot chocolate with Dad (while Mom ducked into her favorite country store).

Sisters' Weekend in Madison

We went to the Farmer's Market around the capital, and we participated in a "Chiari Malformation" awareness walk. The picture below is of those who have Chiari. I was amazed at the percentage of young children, most of whom have already had the skull decompression surgery like me. Makes me thankful for the 31 symptom-free years I had.

Lots of hours talking as sisters - SUCH a blessing and encouragment!
