North Shore

Waimea Falls is right on the North Shore, so a trip would not be complete without stopping off at some of the famous beaches there.

All the girls got to hike Waimea Falls and swim in the pool at the top. This was a highlight for them and they highly recommended this to anyone else who comes to the Island.

Sisters Visit

Naomi's sisters (Renee and Sara) and Cousin (Erika) recently came for a visit. All of us really enjoyed having them here!! Here they are on the first night here on our ritual walk down to the beach with the kids.

Lucas' Birthday - 28!

A couple weeks ago Lucas turned 28! Among some of the really nice cards and gifts he received were a new motorcycle seat and some new board games. Here he is playing "Story Cubes" with the kids at breakfast. Later that evening we hired a babysitter so that Lucas and I could go to the beach and then to dinner.

Neighbor's 2 Year Old Birthday Party

Just outside our front door this past Saturday, another little neighbor friend was turning 2 yrs old. His parents had a HUGE party with all their family (around 100 Philippino and Hawaiian kids and parents), and they invited us - the one white family there. They had tents on their small lawn and even this 12ft. water slide! Brent LOVED the slide, but Amber preferred to play in the little kiddie pool. :-)
